Integrated Design
How we help?

Partner in EU Projects
We uniquely combine spatial analysis, environmental modelling, and social acceptance within a single team. This integrated capability allows us to contribute seamlessly across multiple work packages, ensuring coherence between the research project technological development applications and its spatial footprint on local communities and stakeholder engagement through participatory processes. As a long- standing partner in various EU programmes, we deliver scientifically robust, policy-aligned results that enhance project comparability, reliability and long-term impact.

Customized Consulting
We bridge technical assessment with societal adoption. We provide GIS-based Spatial Multi-Criteria Analysis and scenario modelling, facilitate stakeholder engagement and co-creation for feasibility and acceptance, and develop communication, dissemination, and exploitation strategies. Our deep expertise in EU and Italian energy and land-use policies ensures alignment with regional and European frameworks.

Decision Support Tools
We design and deliver decision-support tools, guidelines, and visual outputs that translate complex spatial and environmental data into actionable insights. Through KPI frameworks, scenario visualizations, and interactive spatial dashboards, we help policymakers, developers, and authorities balance energy generation, biodiversity protection, and land-use priorities within integrated planning processes.

Engagement & Demonstration
We organize participatory processes and training activities with local authorities, professionals in architecture, urban planning and landscape architecture, land managers, farmers, NGOs, and citizens to co- design a transition towards renewable energy sources, with a special focus on solar, which is integrated, sustainable and socially accepted. We bring research out of laboratories among the real actors in real contexts. We play active roles in Europe’s renewable-energy community — as founder and organizer of the annual Integrated Photovoltaics Conference and through senior team member serving as Working Group at ETIP PV Partnership. These roles enable us to connect policy, research, and industry actors directly.
