The objective of the project was to establish a means of sustaining interaction between financiers and the innovative European wind industry. The action was launched through the organization of the Wind Energy Forum which took place on the occasion of the 1999 European Wind Energy Conference and Exhibition, Nice, 1-5 March.
The dissemination activities have played an important role within the Wind Finance Forum action in that they provided deep insight into the potential of the wind energy market. The book of presentations provided an overview of the wind market situation and of the different financing alternatives for wind projects. The two editions of the newsletter presented the latest developments of the market and the prevailing financing situation, as well as a comprehensive analysis of the conclusions of Wind Finance Forum.
