An effort to assess the realistic potential of carbon dioxide removing solutions and their contribution to the EU’s goal of achieving climate neutrality.

NEGEM is a research and innovation project that will: (1) identify promising solutions that have significant real-world potential in terms of technological parameters, planetary boundaries, costs, social acceptance, and feasibility, and (2) create scalable pathways that leverage these promising solutions.

NEGEM will also reach-out to key stakeholders, in particular to policymakers at national and EU levels, but also to key international stakeholders, including developing countries.
