The objective of the project is to support biofuel and bioenergy stakeholders in contributing to the EU Energy Union goals for 2030 and 2050, promoting a secure, competitive, efficient, and decarbonised energy system.

The project facilitates stakeholder engagement in the implementation of the SET-Plan, supporting the transition from EBTP to ETIP Bioenergy. It contributes to defining research and innovation priorities, strategies, and investment decisions in advanced biofuels and bioenergy, while promoting collaboration and addressing technical and non-technical barriers to market uptake.

The project also provides evidence-based information and supports the European Commission and Member States in shaping research programmes and financial instruments, fostering stronger coordination within the bioenergy community.
