To verify a new value chain that can deliver liquid-biofuel for heat with less greenhouse gas emissions than current pathways.
COMBIO will assess performance data of a pilot-scale pyrolysis oil (PO) production, as well as fundamental PO combustion data for higher quality liquid-biofuels with less emissions.
This will not only improve PO fuel quality in Process Demonstration Unit (PDU)-scales, but also improve the economic competitiveness of the liquid-biofuel value chain.
