Bio-South will execute and assess two pilot regions in southern Europe where there is a notable potential for solid biofuels, in order to: (1.) identify the specific barriers and (2.) propose efficient measures that overcome them by adapting the experiences of countries where biofuels have achieved a significant share of the renewable energies market.
